========================================================================== Basketball Coaches Without Boundaries is holding a Car Wash Fundraiser. ========================================================================== Basketball Coaches Without Boundaries (BCWB) will be holding our second fundraiser for the 2003 season. It’s a CAR WASH and you can join in on the fun while at the same time get your car washed. We really need your support. The car wash will be held at the 7th Street Exxon Gas Station located at 1401 West 7th Street, Frederick. It will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2003 starting at 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Our fundraisers play a critical part of our ability to have free programs for the youth and community of Frederick. So, please tell you friends and neighbors to come out and support the Youth Summer League Basketball. ========================================================================== Bowl-A-Thon 2003 another step towards the growth and development of our Frederick County Youth. ========================================================================== Basketball Coaches Without Boundaries held our annual "Every Child Counts" Bowl-A-Thon in support of our 2003 strategic programs. This event was held in February of 2003 at the Terrace Lanes Bowing Alley. This is our kick-off fundraiser for our 2003 Summer programs. This is an opportunity for everyone to share in the fun of an evening of bowling and at the same time support our youth. Mark you calendars for next year’s event. Both the Camp and League teams are filling up fast, so please act quickly. Final registration will be held on May 31, 2003 at the College Estate Park from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. We have invited many of the local Colleges and High Schools to share important college entrance information, campus life and future plans for Frederick County Public Schools. Several of the colleges invited are Frederick Community College, Hood College, Mt. Saint Mary’s, Montgomery College, Howard Community College, Allegany Community College, Frostburg State, Morgan State, UMBC, Coppin State, Loyola, John Hopkins and the University of Maryland. ========================================================================== Christmas Toys for Kids 2003 Program – approved by BCWB Board. ========================================================================== BCWB will hold its third annual Christmas Toys for Kids program. This year BCWB will team up Wayman A.M.E. Church in a project to bring Christmas joy to children in the Frederick County area. We hope many of you will join us this Christmas by giving the gift of love. BCWB will send you information in early December on how you can support this program.
