This was our first year participating in the summer leageue. I'd like to take the opportunity to thank you and the BCWB organization for volunteering your time to coordinate and execute a successful league. We were a last minute enrollment, it really meant a lot to Dejuan to be allowed to play. I also appreciate the fact that games were started and ended on time. We participated in the summer camp too....each night the kids came home excited to share what happened at camp, tell who was "camper of the day", and they still remember the encouraging words from BCWC staff as well as the talk from the FCC coach. You guys do great work....keep it up! August 9, 2005 Valerie Winn Frederick, MD My two boys, Morgan and Ethan, had a wonderful experience
with BCWB this summer and want to play again next year. Thank you
very much for running an excellent program. Both my husband and I
would gladly volunteer to help your organization next
summer. THANK YOU!!
August 7, 2005 Stacy Allwein Mt. Airy, MD Now that the season has ended I wanted to get back to you to
reiterate what a wonderful program we think you have created.
Although this was our first year being a part of BCWB, our kids have
participated in a variery of sports programs in Frederick County.
By far, BCWB has been the most impressive. Mostly because of the
opportunities offered to so many kids and the organization of your
program. It has amazed my husband and me each week as to how you
are able to do so much with an outdoor summer program. In
addition, we came into this not knowing anyone and had the opportunity
to meet some really great families.
I originally saw a sign advertising BCWB back in the winter
and called to see what it was all about. Our son, Michael, is
only 10 years old and really a grade too young for your program, but we
were told that he was welcome to play. We understood that he
probably wouldn't get a lot of playing time, but would have the
opportunity to learn more about basketball and experience a new level
of competition. We never expected it to turn out to be such a
great experience. Michael was selected to receive the Achievement
Award for the Junior Division yesterday. This was such an honor
and we are extremely proud of him for the effort he put forth and how
he stepped up this season, but just as much proud that he was able
to benefit from being part of such a great program. We are sad
that the league has ended, but will definitely be ready to come back
next year and play.
Thanks again.
Sincerely,
July 25, 2005 Denise Hall-Brown I think what you are doing is outstanding. This is my son's first year with the league and we'll definitely be back next year. We can't make it to the picnic because of our family vacation. However, I want you to know that it's a classy way to end the season and that we appreciate all of your efforts. From the organization to the work you do each week, every board member and volunteer deserves applause. Thanks again!! 8/6/2006 10:35:31 AM Eastern Daylight Time Kathy and Rob Nickey I wanted to send this
