Jermaine, never played on a team in our Youth Basketball Summer League, however he did participate in
a special 2001 Community Day game host by Basketball Coaches Without Boundaries as
entertainment for the league and Frederick community.  Jermaine joined in with several talented players
from the Frederick area to compete for bragging rights against a strong talented team from New York, New York. 
BCWB pulled out all the stops for this exciting challenge by having Nikki Teasley, then North Carolina Wolfpack
Women's Star and current WBA LA Sparks star, volunteer head coach our team to victory.  Jermaine had a great
game and Nikki went home with the trophy. 

Currently, Jermaine is a sophomore at LaSalle University.  Recently BCWB took our
Nicholas Leakins SAT Scholarship and Study group members to watch Jermaine play
against the Richmond
Spiders.  LaSalle lost a
very tight game but
afterwards  we had
time to chat with
Jermaine.  Jermaine
is doing great in his
college basketball
career at LaSalle
and enjoys the
academic challenges.
