Former
Basketball Coaches Without Boundaries Senior Division Philadelphia
Severty-Sixers player Amanda Jones is currently playing Division
I Women's Basketball for Lafayette College located in Easton ,
Pa. Amanda is one of the first girls to play in our BCWB
Youth Summer Basketball League. Playing in our first year of 2000
for the Philly 76'er, Amanda played on
the 2000 Philly 76'er Senior Division Championship team coached by
personal individual instruction trainer and family friend Darryl Whiten.
Amanda also played in the 2001 and 2002 seasons. Amanda has
always had talent and played with the boys every chance she was
afforded. While playing in the BCWB Youth Summer League,
Admana received much respect from the boys for her ability to step back
off the three point circle and
knock down the tri-fecta. Additionally, she mixed it up with the boys
with a drive to the hoop from time to time and on the boards.
We at BCWB are very happy to see Amanda continue
her hoop-dream at Lafayette College while she gains a quality
education. Below are a
few comments on Amanda we copied from the Lafayette Women's Basketball
website. For more on the Lafayette women's Basketball program, you can
